THE RIGHT TRAFFIC DISPATCHER
AUGUST 2025, VOL XI
From the CEO…
Hello Everyone,
Another month has come and gone, and we continue to make massive strides in our efforts to build North America’s largest traffic control company.
I had the pleasure of witnessing this firsthand when I, along with our COO Johanu Botha, visited several of our offices in early July. There is nothing quite like getting your feet on the ground and seeing the work all of you are doing every day to make our communities safer and our clients’ projects meet deadlines and run better and more efficiently.
I want to make particular note of the work of our operational managers. It is a very demanding job, requiring a particular skill and dedication to sit between our field staff and senior management, not to mention our valued clients, to ensure the delivery of our services. I want to personally thank you for all you do. You are the future leaders of this company, and we will continue our efforts to build a company where you see your future.
I will leave it there for now. Until next month, stay safe.
Cheers,
Trevor

THE RIGHT COMPANY UPDATES

W3E Traffic Control
W3E has made significant progress in California by integrating the GSF into the market.
They are proud to announce they have secured inspector approvals in several of the busiest areas within Sacramento County. In addition, they have received approval for GSF usage from both the Federal Highways Administration and Caltrans, two of the state's major roadway operators.
Congratulations to the outstanding Operations team for their dedicated efforts in bringing GSF technology to cities and counties across California.
Titan Traffic
A team of 24 skilled crew members managed the safe transport of wind turbines over a 200 km route through Nova Scotia. Using 14 Guardian SmartFlaggers, they are controlling traffic at seven key points.
The six-week project involves multiple crews working six to seven days a week to keep the massive move on schedule and ensure safety throughout the journey.
A huge thank you to our dedicated crews, designers, and managers for their hard work and commitment on the ground.
Your efforts keep everything moving safely!
Spartan/A-America
We were proud to host staff and clients for a relaxed night of snacks, sips, and swings at Top Golf in Tampa. Eight of our clients showed up for a couple of hours of fun and to learn how we work to ensure their success. This was our first strike at one of these events, and we look forward to building on this success!
Great initiative, Spartan. Just make sure to yell “Fore” when you slice it off the tee!
Wright
Wright is excited to announce the opening of a new office in Anderson, South Carolina, in the western part of the state. This is our third office in the state and further expands our offerings through the Carolinas. Along with the opening of a new office in Columbus, Ohio, there are now 49 Wright offices across the states we serve.
Amazing work, everyone! We can’t wait to hear about #50!
Directional Traffic is excited to announce the additions of Margaret and William to the team in our Harrisonburg, VA, location.
Margaret is an amazing office administrator. Her passions are her animals, friends, and family. While she has already proven to be dedicated to growing our organization, she still finds time to sit down and read a good book.
William, our new operations manager, comes from a lengthy career in the traffic control industry, starting as a flagger in 2010. In 2016, he helped start a traffic control company based out of Verona, VA, which quickly became recognized as one of the leading providers in the area before selling to AWP in 2020.
Our team here in Harrisonburg is small but strong, and Margaret and William look forward to working with each one of our employees to help develop their knowledge and skills.
Small and strong, but not for long with both of you on board. Very excited to see Directional grow in Virginia.
Directional Traffic
P.D. Brooks
P.D. Brooks is proud to announce the addition of Matt Miller as the Branch Operations Manager for our Richmond, VA office. His experience in leadership, operations, and logistics is already having a positive impact on the culture of excellence that we strive to maintain. Matt is also a head coach for a local high school football team and is a natural when it comes to management and mentoring.
Welcome aboard, Matt. Can’t wait to see what you do.
ALPHA SPACE
Construction season is getting busy, and Alpha is moving full steam ahead on jobs, both big and small. Our work in Maryland continues unabated, while jobs like these intersections in Ferguson Township, PA and parking lots at various McDonald’s in Bedford, PA, have the Alpha team going flat out, day and night.
Is it only me, is all this hard work making you hungry? Keep it up, Alpha!
WTC
While WTC has experienced record growth over the last few years, we’ve never been able to say we’ve put out 200 crews in one day. Not anymore. Last month, we crossed this important milestone, signaling our continued commitment to progress and further clarifying our position as a leader in the traffic control industry.
Many thanks to all our traffic control professionals who make WTC a place for everyone to grow!
Impressive stuff. It takes a team to achieve this success. Congrats to everyone!

THE RIGHT EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT
Name: Jessica Swiger
Job Title: Director of Training
Department: Shared Services
Jessica Swiger, Director of Training
Jessica’s Story:
For the past eight years, Jessica has built a dynamic career in traffic control, advancing through nearly all levels of the business: from Administrative Support and Scheduling to Account Management and Director of Operations. During this time, Jessica was instrumental in launching 10 operational offices across Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Virginia and overseeing operations in five states—PA, MD, VA, DE, and NC.
Before entering the traffic control industry, Jessica worked in Human Resources as an HR Assistant, where she was responsible for hiring, terminations, drug testing, audits, and orientation programs. This blend of HR and operational experience has shaped her into a well-rounded, adaptable, and people-focused professional dedicated to continuous improvement and team success. It is these experiences Jessica credits for developing herself into a leader who not only inspires and guides but welcomes guidance in return and “has shaped me into a well-rounded, adaptable, and people-focused professional dedicated to continuous improvement and team success.”
As RT’s Director of Training, Jessica’s goal is to unite all of the companies through cohesive training and a strong focus on self-development. One initiative Jessica is proud to champion is the digital “Learn Management System” (LMS), streamlining access to training, standardizing educational content, and promoting continuous learning across all RT businesses. The implementation of the LMS is an important step in Jessica’s overall goal to elevate training so “every team member is equipped with the tools, knowledge, and support needed to thrive and contribute to their personal and our collective success.”
Fun Fact: “That's right, your fave Training Director loves her some Pokémon! I travel the US trading, selling, and even playing.”

OPERATIONALLY SPEAKING....
In late April 2025, Right Traffic initiated the Shared Services team.
Conceptually, Shared Services is an operating model where common business support functions are centralized and delivered across multiple parts of an organization – think a centralized IT department. This is rather than each business having its own service – think IT again - where things can be done differently, leading to confusion and inefficiency which then leads to frustration and a lack of action and poorer delivery of our services to our clients.
The initial scope of Shared Services is to bring Asset Management (Fleet), Claims, Procurement, Training, and IT into one group to serve ourselves and our clients better and more efficiently. We hope to quickly add Facility Management and Union/Labor.
Who are Shared Services’ clients? All of you.
The team is comprised of subject matter experts in all the assigned domains, so we will be keeping the lights on as we transform how we do business and change how we think and measure success.
We look forward to improving our service for the benefit of all of you. Look to this space for updates!

THE RIGHT WAY PHOTO OF THE MONTH:
And finally, each month we will feature a photo from one of our companies. This month…
Courtesy of Alpha Space Control, one of our Alpha crews installs RPMs (Raised Pavement Markers) on a roadway. To do this, there is a driver in the truck with someone sitting in the front basket installing epoxy with the second crew member in the rear basket setting the marker in the glue.
Poetry in motion.
