THE RIGHT TRAFFIC DISPATCHER
VOL XV
From the CEO…
Hello Everyone,
What is the beginning of the postal service code? Neither rain, nor sleet, nor snow…. Well, they should start saying that about Right Traffic. Despite the winter weather in nearly all our markets, we continued to deliver our services while preparing for the upcoming construction season.
Let’s hope for better weather in February as this month is sure to be busy. ATSSA is coming up in Houston while our sales team will be at Distributech in San Diego and then ConEx in Las Vegas shortly after. Meanwhile, we are prepping for our second annual Right Traffic Leadership Conference, RTU continues to develop, and our integrations team keeps training people on the Guardian SmartFlagger. All this, while still delivering our highly professionalized traffic control services to all our clients across all our communities.
Keep up the great work everyone. Less than 60 days until the start of construction season. I know we will all be ready.
Cheers,
Trevor
THE RIGHT COMPANY UPDATES
WTC
WTC’s South Bend office wants to highlight that, in 2025, they deployed the GSF on 1,700 jobs including many with new clients like Indiana Michigan & Power, Gatlin Plumbing & Heating, Atlas, and NextGen Earthworks. South Bend is on track to keep doing big things in 2026!
WTC Indianapolis started 2025 with training, training, and more training to insure they would be well prepared for the year. In 2025 they deployed over 2,300 Guardian SmartFlaggers in the field. BIG shout out to Jessie Jones, pictured right, for having 253 GSF deployments, the highest count of the season! Indy as also landed several new clients and has collaborated with local law enforcement conducting three separate “Rolling Roadblocks”! Indianapolis’s successful 2025 is due to the hard work and dedication of every flagger, supervisor, and team lead in the field! In 2026, Indy is set for the best year to come!
WTC Ohio wants to highlight the Cleveland team for successfully supporting a major lift operation for Bay Crane in the downtown corridor. This job required a full road closure, complete MOT setup, and seamless coordination with the onsite crane crew and surrounding businesses. The team executed the operation safely, efficiently, and with zero incidents.
Bay Crane has continued to expand their work with WTC throughout 2025, trusting them to manage increasingly complex closures in high-traffic urban environments. Their confidence in our crews is a direct reflection of the professionalism, reliability, and attention to detail our field teams bring to every setup.
This partnership has become a standout success for the Cleveland market, and they look forward to continued collaboration with Bay Crane this year.
P.D. Brooks
P.D. Brooks had an exciting 2025. They achieved record financial months and grew their workforce from 50 employees to 275! That’s a 450% increase. P.D. Brooks was also awarded the Dominion Energy contract, valued at $70 million over the next five years.
Without the trust, confidence, and support of the Right Traffic staff and the incredible employees who make up our traffic control family, none of this would be possible.
P.D. Brooks feels grateful to have had such a strong year and is looking forward to continuing to set new records across Virginia.
Right
Traffic
- California
Right Traffic - California has an exciting lineup of projects planned for the upcoming 2026 season. They are actively bidding on new work while also engaging with potential customers. To support their growth, Right Traffic is expanding their footprint with the opening of the newest office in Tulare, CA.
In addition, Right Traffic is exploring opportunities to expand further in Vallejo (Bay Area), where they are busy nearly year-round.
They are also thrilled to welcome Brook Gaona as the new Team Lead in the Vallejo area. Brook brings a strong background in traffic control and is highly respected within the industry. We’re looking forward to getting him trained and out in the field, helping continue to deliver top-notch service.
Titan
Titan closed 2025 on a high note and brings in 2026 with strong momentum and excitement for continued growth!
In New Brunswick, the team supported two major projects with VYE Construction, including work on the Elsipogtog (pronounced El-see-buk-tuk) First Nation reserve from August through November. The second project involved a large-scale road rehabilitation that included new pipe installation, sidewalks, and roadway elevation, requiring a combination of traffic signal setups and flagging.
Titan also leveraged its excavation expertise to strengthen existing client relationships and establish new ones, including Charles Smith Construction, Rockwood Transport, Dellway Inc., Pulse Excavating, Charmac Construction, and Pierre Cormier Construction.
In addition, Titan increased the number of trucks supporting its primary customer, NB Power, across four regions. The New Brunswick office expanded operations into Prince Edward Island, providing five-day-a-week support to Atlantic Enterprise Ltd.
A great way to end 2025 and an exciting start of 2026 for Titan!
WDW &
Spartan
WDW of Sarasota is currently managing a large-scale project that was originally scheduled for two days and has now extended to approximately two weeks, requiring ongoing adjustments and coordination. The traffic control plan and client request called for 14 flaggers, and to date they have deployed 8 flaggers along with 3 sets of GSFs across the work site.
The operation involves a one-lane roadway with a turn lane that spans the length of the road, with crews actively managing, approximately, 14 side streets. GSFs have been strategically placed every third street to control the turn lane and side street access, allowing traffic to alternate safely without requiring multiple flaggers at each location.
The extended timeline required collaboration with the crew and a detailed breakdown of the overall traffic control strategy to ensure everyone understood the larger operational picture and maintained safety and efficiency!
As for Spartan, they recently completed a large nighttime operation at the Dallas 1 location.
Alpha Space
Alpha Space in Chambersburg is focusing on annual equipment maintenance and repairs to ensure all assets are fully prepared for the upcoming season.
In addition, Alpha has recently expanded its territory and is in the process of opening a new office in South Carolina by the end of January; pictured is Alpha’s new long line thermoplastic truck for the expansion.
Plans are also underway to open another office in the greater Akron, Ohio area by mid-February. These Greenfield expansions are expected to create new positions and provide additional opportunities as operations continue to grow!
Southwest Barricades
Over the coming months Southwest Barricades will be busy! Crews will be working for Emery Sapp & Sons as they perform asphalt removal and diamond milling on Arizona State Route 51, covering approximately 10 miles. The project is scheduled to begin at the end of February.
Southwest’s teams will manage all traffic control, including full northbound and southbound closures, ramp closures within the work zone, and designated detour and trailblazer routes to redirect traffic.
Additional scheduling, phasing, and project details will be provided by the contractor as they become available.
FC Traffic
FC Traffic has employees they would like to recognize for their dedication, great problem-solving skills, and a strong command of their work.
Luis Aguero (in the black shirt) a Field Traffic Control Supervisor at the FC El Paso branch, brings seven years of experience in the traffic control industry. Luis joined FC Traffic Control in early 2025.
Daniel Porras (pictured with Luis) is also a Field Traffic Control Supervisor at the FC El Paso branch. Daniel has been in traffic control for four years and has also been with FC since early 2025.
Together, they bring strong leadership, hands-on expertise, and great energy to the El Paso team!
EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT
The first Employee Spotlight of 2026 is here!
And we are proud to feature Seth Dunfee!
Seth has been part of the WTC family for almost two years, joining WTC in April of 2024
He quickly proved himself as a strong crew lead, getting GSF and TMA certified, quickly becoming a reliable go-to for setting up MOTs and TCPs. Seth genuinely enjoys training new employees, and they often turn to him when facing something unfamiliar. He’s dependable not just when he’s scheduled but on his days off too. And if you’ve ever worked with him, you know he’s the crew jokester, always ready with a meme, a quick laugh, or a harmless prank around the office.
Along with keeping the roads of northern Indiana safe, Seth also serves our country. As a member of the National Guard, he spends one weekend a month training to stay mission ready. Recently, he was deployed to a non-disclosed location for six months. This meant time away from his children during the holidays, which is never easy. But we know his kids couldn’t be prouder of the father they have.
Everyone at WTC will miss having Seth around the office and out on job sites.
We’re already looking forward to welcoming him home, safe, sound, and, hopefully, with a whole new batch of jokes.
NEW FACES, RIGHT ROLES
Welcome to Right Traffic!
We are thrilled to announce the addition of two talented individuals to our Right Traffic team.
-
Please join us in welcoming Elliot McAmis to the Right Traffic team as an Integration Specialist!
With a background as a union carpenter and general contractor, Elliot is excited to hit the road, see the country, meet new people, and take on something new after years of building houses. He’s drawn to traffic control because it’s an essential industry with real complexity and he loves being part of work that helps keep people safe and ensures everyone gets home at the end of the day.
When he’s not working, you’ll likely find Elliot experimenting with single-person electric vehicles like electric skateboards, scooters, one-wheels, and electric bike conversions, or fabricating electric trikes built for drifting. He’s also a big fan of the outdoors and enjoys fishing, camping, hiking, and spending time surfing and scuba diving when he’s near the coast. We’re thrilled to have you on the Right Traffic team Elliot!

Please join us in welcoming Paula Wilson to the Right Traffic team as a Dispatch+ Coordinator! Paula brings valuable experience to us from her previous role as a Domestic Operations Manager with SEKO Logistics.
What excites Paula most about her new role is the variety. She is currently a floater, so no two days are the same, and that’s exactly what she enjoys! Paula loves having the opportunity to connect with offices across the system, gaining exposure to different operations and learning something new every day.
Looking ahead, Paula hopes to learn as much as possible and see where her journey takes her within the company.
Paula is a huge sports fan! She cheers for the Steelers, Pirates, and Penguins, but she loves dirt track racing and motocross as well. Most weekends, you’ll find her watching her 15-year-old nephew play baseball, who has been playing since he was four and is an exceptional catcher.
We are so excited to have Paula’s excitement on the Right Traffic team and can’t wait to see where this journey takes her!

THE RIGHT WAY PHOTO OF THE MONTH
While Joe and Sunshine Breathitt were working on a job site in Syracuse, IN, the woman in the photo came out of her house to talk with them about her husband and son, who she said owned a construction company. She was kind, friendly, eager to share stories from her life, and took an instant liking to Joe.
Although she invited them inside and offered lunch, they kindly let her know they couldn’t enter homes while on duty. She then asked if she could take them to the lake for lunch to meet her husband. They told her they’d be happy to chat during their lunch break. They never went to lunch, nor did they meet her husband, but she shared many wonderful memories about her early life, her family, her husband, and their company.
Later in the day, the woman’s daughter stopped by and explained that her father had passed away some time ago and that her mother was living with dementia. She thanked Joe and Sunshine for their patience, compassion, and the time they spent listening to her mom.
Moments like these remind us how meaningful simple kindness can be in our communities. What we do goes beyond flagging at intersections and instants like this demonstrate the character of our team.

And finally, each month we will feature a photo from one of our companies. This month…
