THE RIGHT TRAFFIC DISPATCHER
OCTOBER 2025, VOL XIII
From the CEO…
Hello All,
Here we are. The 2025 construction season finish line is in sight. It’s hard to believe we accomplished so much in such a short time.
Record days and weeks for jobs, hundreds trained on the Guardian Smart Flagger, new technologies adopted, our first annual leadership conference, people hired and departments started across the organization are just a few of the accomplishments that come to mind.
And, of course, we have continued to grow. We started the year with just over 70 offices across 12 states. As of the end of September we’re in 15 states with over 90 offices. And now we can make that number 16 after bringing Arizona’s Southwest Barricades into Right Traffic. Let me be the first to welcome Kris and his team to the family. We are so excited to have you.
So that’s all for this month. Let’s bring it home with our best month of the season. Then enjoy some rest with your friends and family.
Until next month.
Cheers,
Trevor
THE RIGHT COMPANY UPDATES
W3E Traffic Control
It’s been a busy and productive season for our West Coast team. Crews have been hard at work onboarding new trucks and equipment, while also enhancing the fleet with GPS and camera installations. So far this year, we’ve added 48 trucks, 10 light towers, and 30 message boards, marking a significant boost in our operational capacity.
In September, W3E achieved a major milestone with record-high revenue and job counts in equipment rentals. A big thank you to everyone who made this achievement possible.
W3E has officially kicked off a three-month project on Interstate 80. Their presence in interstate work continues to grow, with expansion expected well into 2026. And they are actively growing their footprint in the Vallejo area and pursuing new opportunities in Fresno, CA! Exciting steps forward as they strengthen their presence in key California regions.
Some more good news W3E has to report; Guardian SmartFlaggers have now been approved in multiple counties and by the Federal Highway Administration! This is an important win for both innovation and safety.
Nolan Carrozza (Wilmington Operations Manager), Ed Joyner (Senior Field Supervisor), and Mary Zahnd (Regional Operations Manager) had the awesome opportunity to join their client, Southeast Connections (SEC), for their Safety Day in Wilmington, NC.
Ed Joyner set up a mock work zone to give SEC employees a hands-on look at what goes into setting up and taking down a traffic control zone. It was interactive and engaging. Teams asked great questions and even jumped in to help with the setup and takedown process. It was a fun and informative way to show what we do and why safety is always our top priority!

Southwest Safety
Southwest has been busy keeping New Mexico moving! From keeping film crews safe to supporting community events. Whether it's long-standing favorites like the Sugar Skull Fun Run and Day of the Tread, or the fast-paced world of film production, Southwest has been right there, making sure everything runs smoothly and safely. But their busy schedule isn’t slowing them down. Southwest was recently awarded a contract for the Duke City Marathon, an event that has been around for 40 years!
Just goes to show, traffic control isn’t just about cones and signs. It’s about being part of the action, wherever it happens!
P.D. Brooks
P.D. Brooks’ Sign Shop sets them apart from the competition by giving them the ability to produce a wide range of signage. Permanent, temporary, and even roll-up signs—all in-house at their state-of-the-art facility.
P.D. Brooks skilled team, led by Michael Fisher and Alec Gregory, manage the shop when they’re not out assisting with traffic control setups.
Customers appreciate that they’re a true one-stop shop for traffic control solutions. Whether it’s creating, installing, renting, or selling signs and equipment, P.D. Brooks does it all!
WTC
WTC is proud to welcome four new faces to the Guardian SmartFlagger team! The newest technicians are jumping into certification training, where they’ll gain hands-on experience with safe setup and takedown procedures, get familiar with our tablet software, and become experts in everything GSF. Big things ahead for this crew. Congratulations!
Say hello to the latest additions to our GSF-certified team:
Hayden Campbell
Tim Bergan
Michael McCowan
Martrell Coleman
Alpha Space
Alpha is pushing hard to wrap up as many projects as possible before the end of the year. With a strong backlog in place, Alpha recently brought in a long-line thermoplastic crew and an additional foreman to help keep things moving. Despite 2025 bringing more than 2.5 times the rainfall compared to last year, the team has been getting creative with logistics and project planning to stay on track.
To show some appreciation for the hard work, Alpha hosted an Employee Appreciation Day on Saturday, October 11th! Team members and their families spent the day enjoying great food, drinks, and classic fall fun like pumpkin picking, a corn maze, hayrides, and a petting zoo.
But the appreciation didn’t stop there! On Monday, October 13th, Alpha treated all field crews to a hot breakfast on-site before they headed out for the week. A great way to kick things off and keep morale high!

NEW FACES, RIGHT ROLES
Welcome to Right Traffic!
We are thrilled to announce the addition of a talented individual to our Right Traffic team.
-
Andrew Tellez joins the Right Traffic team as the Strategic Integration & Expansion Manager for the Western Region. Previously serving as a Dispatch & Scheduling Supervisor at a different traffic control company, Andrew brings valuable operational experience and a strong passion for growth and team success.
In his new role, Andrew is most excited about expanding the Right Traffic brand into new markets. Getting the company’s name out on the road and in front of both the public and competitors. He thrives on the challenges and fast-paced energy that come with launching and growing new branches, finding it both rewarding and motivating.
Andrew’s goal is to build a long-term, successful career with Right Traffic. He hopes to open and establish multiple new offices built on a foundation of safety, quality, and lasting success, always prioritizing the well-being of team members and the public alike.
A proud Colorado native, “the last of a dying breed,” as he says, Andrew has never been skiing and actually dislikes the snow, which he blames on his first car: a 2000 Camaro that once spun out on an icy highway on the way to school. He’s a die-hard Denver Broncos and Denver Nuggets fan with a huge passion for sports. But above all, Andrew’s greatest joy and motivation in life is his 16-month-old son, Peyton, who inspires him to work hard and never give up!
Welcome to the team Andrew, we are so excited to have you, and we can’t wait to see all the great things you accomplish!
Field Safety Supervisors Alexander Herrera and Damian Ortiz! They have been going above and beyond this season, taking on a wide range of responsibilities. From conducting field visits and managing equipment upfitting to receiving new inventory and coordinating GPS/camera installations, they’ve truly been doing it all.
They’ve also been instrumental in scheduling truck service, organizing oil changes and ensuring all vehicles are professionally wrapped and road-ready.
A big thank-you to Alex and Damian for their dedication, flexibility, and tireless work. Your efforts help keep our operations running smoothly and safely.
Thank you all for your continued hard work and dedication. Let’s keep the momentum going!
At Right Traffic, we’re only as strong as our teams, and that strength often comes down to the connection between two of our people.
To celebrate these important partnerships, each edition of The Dispatcher will spotlight a RT Dynamic Duo.
This month we’re featuring...
RT’S DYNAMIC DUO
SAFETY, THE RIGHT WAY
October brings spooky stories, but the real magic is in the results. Thanks to a strong collaboration between Operations and Safety, the corrective action program has reduced repeat employee incident reoccurrence’s to under 2% over the last four months. That’s no ghost story, just proof that learning from every event keeps teams safer, smarter, and ready for whatever appears next on the job site!
October brings spooky fun, but safety is no trick! Stay aware of your surroundings, use proper visibility gear, and keep our worksites and roads safe for everyone!
OPERATIONALLY SPEAKING....
A big part of success comes from the excellent work everyone is doing to integrate the GSF into daily operations. Of course, there’s always room to improve, and our Integration Specialists wanted to share a few key tips and best practices to help us continue building on that momentum;
Every smooth day starts with solid preparation, and that means charged equipment. Before heading out, make sure all systems are powered and ready to roll. Remember “4, 12, 40.” The tablet runs for about 4 hours (pack a power bank for longer shifts), the base station lasts around 12 hours and can even charge your tablet, and the 12-volt batteries power through up to 40 hours. Keeping your gear fully charged means better communication, reliable performance, and fewer interruptions in the field.
Proper setup is just as important. When positioning the GSF, face the front wheel toward oncoming traffic and make sure all four legs or jackscrews are drilled down securely on a flat, stable surface. Three wheels should be off the ground for balance, and the leveling bubble inside the ring should be centered before operation. Taking a few extra moments to set up correctly helps keep the GSF stable, visible, and operating safely and efficiently.
Even with the best preparation, issues can happen. If you run into a problem or notice equipment damage, contact the Site 20/20 Support Team by calling (877) 794-2003 or tapping “Help” on the Menu Board. The number is also listed on the base station and the top of every GSF. Once you’ve reached out, be sure to notify your manager so your team stays informed and coordinated.
Every step, from charging and setup to communication and support, plays an important role in keeping our work zones safer, smarter, and running smoothly. Thanks for continuing to put safety, teamwork, and pride into everything you do.

THE RIGHT WAY PHOTO OF THE MONTH
And finally, each month we will feature a photo from one of our companies. This month…
This awesome photo was snapped by Paul Roosjen, our Trade Show & Events Specialist, during his stop at the WD Wright office in Jeffersonville, Indiana! The small-but-mighty Jeffersonville crew welcomed Paul to the office while he was nearby in Kentucky for the Utility Expo earlier this October.
Before becoming home to WD Wright, the office had a whole different story as an arcade and games space! The office isn’t just full of great people, it’s full of personality too! From eye-catching art to a (now retired) half pipe, the space has an incredible vibe.
