THE RIGHT TRAFFIC DISPATCHER

VOL XVI

From the CEO…

Hello Everyone,

As we head into the final months of 2026, I’ve been thinking about how Right Traffic has changed and, more importantly, where we’re headed.

So, after a lot of discussion about where we’re going and what we want to be as a company, we decided it was time to put it into words. Here it is, our Right Traffic Mission Statement.

“Empowering people to drive meaningful change in traffic control—harnessing technology to protect the public, professionalize the industry, and create safe, fulfilling careers.”

This mission statement wasn’t written just for the sake of creating one. It was created to articulate a direction, a beacon, we are trying to accomplish together.

Our built world is changing. Our customers’ demands and expectations are changing. Technology is changing. What this means is we have an opportunity to help shape what this industry looks like in the future.

And at center of everything we do are you, the people who show up every day to keep roads moving and jobsites safe. We want to give you better tools, better opportunities, and a safer and more fulfilling career. At the same time, we want to make our industry more professional and deliver a better experience for our clients and the public.

That is what Right Traffic is all about.

For many of our teams, the construction season is entering its home stretch. It has been another busy year, and I want to thank everyone for the hard work that has gone into keeping our customers moving and our communities safe. There is still plenty to do, but it’s also a good time to take a step back and recognize what we have accomplished.

We have a lot to be proud of, and even more to look forward to.

Keep up the great work everyone. Let’s finish the season strong!

Cheers,

Trevor

THE RIGHT COMPANY UPDATES

WTC

Teams from South Bend and Indianapolis came together in the heart of Indianapolis to execute an emergency rolling roadblock, led by strong coordination and a safety-first mindset. Most importantly, the crew ensured motorists, police officers, and the Miller Pipeline team stayed safe.

Pictured below are Indianapolis and Cincinnati flaggers bringing great energy to the job while continuing to deliver safe, reliable support for our clients. It’s a strong example of how teamwork extends across the entire WTC footprint, not just within local areas.

P.D. BROOKS

P.D. Brooks proudly supports more than 30 special events across Virginia each year, providing safe, efficient traffic control that keeps participants and spectators protected. Since the Monument Avenue 10K began in 2000, the P.D. Brooks team has supported the event every single year, making this April the company’s 26th year of partnership with the fourth‑largest 10K race in the country. These events are more than just operations, they build lasting connections between the P.D. Brooks team, local governments, and law enforcement. Each project strengthens the bond the company shares with the communities the serve and reflects P.D. Brooks’ commitment to safety, partnership, and public trust.

California

Right Traffic was proud to sponsor a recent Make-A-Wish Foundation event, with the California team showing up in full support. The event was a tremendous success, raising over $100K to help make life-changing wishes come true.

Barricades Unlimited participated, and donated, to the Touch-a-Truck event in Lubbock, TX. Touch-a-Truck is a free, interactive community event where children and families can get up close, climb on, and explore various large vehicles and heavy machinery. Typically featuring fire trucks, police cars, construction equipment, and helicopters, these events allow kids to meet operators and first responders.

Barricades Unlimited

BU showcased two vehicles and distributed children’s safety vests, which were a tremendous hit with the community. The excitement was evident, as many children put the vests on immediately after receiving them. We also assisted with setting up the event perimeter using our cones. Overall, the day was a great success for both our team and the community, and they are looking forward to participating again next year.

EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT

Our people are our power. Each month, we highlight standout team members.

This month’s spotlight belongs to…

The FC Tyler team, where safety, teamwork, and being ready for the day are all part of the routine.

The Tyler crew recently started incorporating daily stretch-and-flex routines before heading out to job sites. The team has really embraced the new routine, making it a natural part of the workday and another way to put safety first before the work even begins.

We’ve also loved seeing the crews come together for these morning warmups, whether they’re at the yard or getting ready at project sites throughout Tyler and Palestine. From newer crew members to experienced team members, everyone is getting involved and helping set the tone for a safe and successful day.

With the Tyler branch continuing to support projects across East Texas, the team has been staying busy and stepping up wherever needed to keep things moving.

A big shoutout to the Tyler management team, especially Juan Gomez, Jimmy, and Dasheldo, for their leadership, support, and continued effort to keep the crews motivated, organized, and moving in the right direction.

Thanks for helping make safety and teamwork part of the everyday culture at FC Tyler!

THE RT DYNAMIC DUO

To celebrate these important partnerships, each edition of The Dispatcher will spotlight a RT Dynamic Duo. This month we’re featuring...

A Dispatcher first! A Double Dynamic Duo.

Some people become part of a company’s history simply by being there from the beginning. Cory Franklin, Martovous “Juju” Oliver, Derrius Cox, and Clarence Mathews (not pictured) are four of those people at Spartan. They have been there since the early days, have seen just about everything, and have become the people their team can count on when something needs to get done.

Between the four of them, there is a wealth of knowledge about every side of the business. From reading TCPs and setting up long, and short, term rentals to flagging, barricade work, and navigating MOT requirements. They have also built strong relationships with city and county inspectors, both locally and beyond, and their experience has made them go-to resources for the people around them.

What makes this group particularly special is the way that knowledge extends beyond Spartan. With Spartan and WD operating side by side, all four have stepped in at different times to help teach, guide, and support WD’s field teams. They have collectively helped share their experience and make sure the next generation of field staff has the knowledge and confidence to do the job right.

Derrius and Clarence bring that experience directly into their roles as field supervisors, while Clarence also brings a unique perspective from his years with Wright in rentals before Spartan was even established. And no matter the time of day, the weather, or what else they may have going on, they’re always ready to jump in and help when their office or their teams need them.

Four people, two companies, and a whole lot of experience—and a great example of what teamwork looks like across the Right Traffic family.

At Right Traffic, we’re only as strong as our teams, and that strength often comes down to the connection between two of our people.

NEW FACES, RIGHT ROLES

Welcome to Right Traffic!

We are thrilled to announce the addition of two talented individuals to our Right Traffic team.

OPERATIONALLY SPEAKING....

Right Traffic University Kicks Off

Right Traffic University (RTU) kicked off on September 1st with its first round of students. This 16-week program is designed to build leadership skills and prepare the next generation of leaders across the Right Traffic family.

Throughout the program, students will take part in a variety of skill-building sessions covering topics such as Leadership
Foundations & Expectations, Hiring as well as Leading Through Crisis, Leadership Presence, and Integration. RTU brings together a mix of guest speakers, book discussions, interactive conversations, and practical, real-world learning to
give students the opportunity to learn from both experienced leaders and one another. The program will also feature spotlight sessions with Right Traffic’s CEO, COO, and CFO, giving students the opportunity to hear directly from
executive leadership and gain insight into their experiences, perspectives, and approach to leadership.

Students come from companies across the Right Traffic family and represent a wide range of roles and experiences. Bringing together people from different companies, departments, and job functions is a big part of what makes RTU valuable. This diversity gives students the chance to share their own expertise, learn from different perspectives, and build stronger connections with leaders across our organization.

RTU is an investment in our people, who are the future of Right Traffic. Developing strong leaders from within will help us continue to grow while creating more opportunities for our people to take the next step in their careers.

We’re excited to see what this first group of RTU students learns, shares, and brings back to their teams over the next 16 weeks.

THE RIGHT WAY PHOTO OF THE MONTH

And finally, each month we will feature a photo from one of our companies. This month…

A transport truck struck a Titan TMA and work vehicle on the Trans-Canada Highway. Because the TMA was properly positioned, it absorbed the impact, protected the work zone and most importantly, our driver was unharmed.

Without the right equipment and setup this incident could have had a very different outcome.
