THE RIGHT TRAFFIC DISPATCHER
SEPTEMBER 2025, VOL XII
From the CEO…
Hello All,
Fall is here. Crazy, as it seems like construction season just began, and now, here we are with just a couple of months left. By all accounts it looks like we are going to end the season even better than how we began.
Case in point, the week of Sept 15, when we deployed 7,300 crews on 6,000 jobs across all our operations. These are all records for Right Traffic, and the 5,000 crews on over 4,000 jobs are historical records for our non-union operations. This success wouldn’t be possible without the amazing work from all our departments –sales, operations, billing, safety, everyone – in working with our partners to deliver the best traffic control solutions in North America.
Amazing job, everyone. And to think there is still so much more to do.
Still two months left. Let’s keep showing everyone what we can do.
Cheers,
Trevor
THE RIGHT COMPANY UPDATES
W3E Traffic Control
We’re excited to welcome Rich Velis as our new Regional Account Manager. With over 30 years of experience in the construction industry, including 22 years building cell towers and 12 years managing them, Rich brings a wealth of knowledge and a strong background in relationship management.
He has built and maintained solid connections with Pacific Gas and Electric Company, the Sacramento Municipal Utility District, local federal utilities, and state inspectors. Rich has already hit the ground running, securing two new contracts for W3E.
Please join us in giving him a warm welcome as he begins this new chapter. Welcome to the team, Rich!
Spartan/A-America
Spartan Safety recently partnered with J2 Solutions, an award-winning construction management firm, on a crane dismantling project. Despite the rainy weather, crew members on the ground kept things lighthearted, smiling and sharing laughs as they set up message boards and directed traffic at the intersection. The Gulf of America provided a scenic backdrop to the day's work.
Spartan shows no signs of slowing down. In sales, a referral from one customer to another is the highest compliment, so big shoutout to Vertical Earth Florida, a civil construction contractor, for recommending Spartan Safety to ACPLM Asphalt and Concrete. The J2 Solutions opportunity was also a referral, this time from the construction management company Barr&Barr. Spartan has had the pleasure of working with each of these companies on GSFlagging operations throughout the summer.
Great job everyone, we love to see it!
Wright
Exciting news from Wright - join us in congratulating Scott Lopez as he steps into his new role as Senior Regional Manager. His previous experience as Regional Manager has prepared him well for this next chapter.
Although Scott is based out of Spartan Safety Services, his reach extends far beyond. He is now leading the pack for the Southwest, Spartan, and 5 WDW offices in Florida. As we continue to grow, Scott is looking forward to being part of the transformation by supporting other managers, contributing to their growth, and helping our Right Traffic family succeed across the board.
We’re excited to see Scott thrive in his new role and can’t wait to hear about all the great things his team will accomplish.
Congratulations, Scott!
Southwest Safety
Southwest crews found themselves in the middle of a college rivalry while setting up pedestrian guardrails for the University of New Mexico (UNM) game against New Mexico State University (NMSU).
As part of the pre-game traditions, UNM students hold the annual Red Rally, a fiery celebration where an effigy of the NMSU Aggie mascot goes up in flames. This year’s matchup marked the 115th installment of the legendary “Rio Grande Rivalry” between the Aggies and the UNM. The Lobos took down rival New Mexico State 38-20.
P.D. Brooks
P.D. Brooks is celebrating how incredibly fortunate they are to have Traci Chinault and Michele Burrows as the backbone of our outstanding Administrative Team. Together, they manage all administrative responsibilities for jobs across all four locations, while also supporting the hundreds of walk-in customers who visit us each month to purchase or rent equipment.
Their exceptional work ethic and attention to detail play a vital role in our continued growth and success.
Your hard work does not go unnoticed!
WTC
WTC went above and beyond to make things ‘wright’ when a client raised concerns about using the GSF on a previous job site, WTC took immediate and thoughtful action to address the issue.
To rebuild trust and demonstrate the value of the GSF, WTC organized a special tailgate breakfast and GSF demo for the client. Field Supervisor Janelle Barton, along with GSF Technicians Kenny Radabaugh and Chris Jackson, helped set up and lead the event. Over breakfast, the team walked the client through the GSF’s operation, highlighted its benefits, and explained WTC’s standards and policies for GSF usage in the field.
At the end of the day, Operations Manager Candida Archer followed up with the client, who shared that everything went great. He expressed appreciation for the team's effort, saying it helped him see the benefits firsthand and understand that not all companies operate the same.
This is a perfect example of WTC’s commitment to service and professionalism, taking the extra step to ensure client satisfaction and always striving to make things ‘Wright’.

Fun fact: Janessa is part of the team that created this newsletter you're reading!
At Right Traffic, we’re only as strong as our teams and that strength often comes down to the connection between two of our people.
To celebrate these important partnerships, each edition of The Dispatcher will spotlight a RT Dynamic Duo.
This month we’re featuring...
RT’S DYNAMIC DUO
Cody Beavers, Regional Manager, and Nep Rodriguez, Regional Sales & Event Manager from Southwest Safety. Together, they’re setting new standards in service, safety, and strategic growth across the region.
Though Cody is a newer face at Southwest Safety, only stepping into his role seven months ago, his impact has been immediate. He brings strong leadership to the operations department, fostering organization and cohesion across a diverse and fast-moving team.
On the other hand, Nep is a long-standing cornerstone of the company, with over 17 years of experience at Southwest Safety. He’s worn many hats, including Events and Movies Manager, and now brings unmatched knowledge to his role as Regional Sales & Event Manager. With 18 years of experience in barricading, event planning, dispatching, and traffic control sales, Nep is a driving force behind the company’s growing presence in the event and entertainment sectors.
So, what makes their partnership work? Both point to the balance of strengths: Cody leads with operational structure and clarity, while Nep brings deep industry knowledge, community relationships, and hands-on experience across nearly every aspect of the business.
Their collaboration was recently put to the test when a contract opportunity with New Mexico Gas Company (NMGC) became available. Acting quickly, Cody and Nep secured a meeting with NMGC and confidently promised service that would outperform any traffic control provider in the state. Their unified vision, combined with the high safety standards at Southwest Safety, helped win the NMGC contract! A major achievement and testament to their combined strengths.
Together, Cody and Nep embody what teamwork is all about. Blending leadership, experience, and a shared commitment to excellence!
