THE RIGHT TRAFFIC DISPATCHER
VOL XVI
From the CEO…
Happy April, everyone,
So here we are, on the cusp of the 2026 construction season. I couldn’t be more excited. It’s going to be massive for Right Traffic.
One of the main reasons for my excitement is the leadership we have in this company, which I got to see firsthand and address at our second annual Right Traffic Leadership Conference: Vision to Impact held in early March.
For two days, leaders from across our corporate teams - including executive, sales, operations, HR, safety, and more- shared highlights from 2025 and outlined plans for 2026 and beyond with leaders from our operational companies.
I have to say, there is no way any of our competitors have the amount of knowledge and experience we do across the breadth of markets we service. It is incredible. Combine that with our commitment to technology and I have no doubt we will achieve our goal of transforming the traffic control industry, making it undoubtedly safer for our people and our clients while making it a far better experience for those same clients and the public in general.
So, let’s keep going. When we are here again, we will be one month into construction season. I can’t wait to see where we are.
Cheers,
Trevor
THE RIGHT COMPANY UPDATES
WTC
WTC in Indianapolis is starting 2026 strong, and they’re giving credit where it’s due: to the flaggers who take pride in their work and keep safety at the center of every job.
WTC knows just how essential flaggers are, and they’re grateful for the care they take in protecting one another, their clients, and pedestrian traffic every day. Here’s a glimpse at their job sites, and the behind-the-scenes work that makes it all happen. Let’s keep it rolling!
In January, WTC in Cleveland supported Insituform with 24/7 traffic control in downtown Warren, Ohio, working through record snowfall and sub-zero temperatures to keep traffic moving and crews safe across multiple active work zones.
We can’t wait to see what the rest of the year holds for WTC in Indianapolis and in all their markets.

Thank you all for everything you do!

Traffic
California
Right Traffic – California is putting in the work, leading consistent GSF training out of the Fresno office. By investing in regular, hands-on development, crews stay sharp, safety-focused, and ready to perform at the highest level.
Alpha Chambersburg started strong with their company-wide kick-off meeting, energizing the team and setting the tone for another successful year ahead.
They’ve also taken a major step forward by securing the keys to their new Ohio office, a joint venture with WDW as both teams continue expanding operations. These milestones highlight strong growth, collaboration, and forward momentum, all contributing to an extended reach and the continued delivery of exceptional service.
Alpha Space
WDW in Sarasota is in full stride on a major project that’s grown in both size and impact. What was originally scheduled as a two-day job quickly expanded into a two-week operation, and the team rose to the challenge.
The traffic control plan initially called for 14 flaggers. With a strategic approach, they successfully deployed 8 flaggers and 3 sets of GSFs across the work zone, maximizing efficiency without compromising safety.
This project features a one-lane roadway with an extended turn lane stretching the length of the site, along with approximately 14 side streets that must remain safely accessible. Through careful planning and collaboration with the crew, they broke down the large-scale operation to ensure everyone understood the full picture and their role within it.
To maintain safe and efficient traffic flow, GSFs were strategically positioned at every third side street. This setup allows them to control the extended turn lane and alternate traffic in and out of side streets safely, all while minimizing the need for additional personnel.
It’s a strong example of teamwork, adaptability, and smart traffic control strategy in action. Great work to the WDW Sarasota crew for staying flexible, solutions-focused, and committed to getting the job done right.

FC Traffic
FC Traffic would like to shoutout Steve Golden. Steve has been with FC Traffic since March 2020 and serves as the Print Shop Manager. From day one, he has shown a strong passion for sign production and takes great pride in the quality of his work.
When FC Traffic secured its first two contracts, Steve played a major role in producing nearly 4,000 signs in just six weeks. That’s a huge milestone in supporting early operations. He is a true team player who now produces signs for 11 FC locations from Amarillo, Texas, operating two printers with efficiency and precision.
In addition to production, Steve manages printer maintenance and material ordering, helping keep the print shop running smoothly and supporting teams across multiple locations. The above photos highlight Steve in his workspace, operating one of the printers, and handling large-scale sign production.
Spartan
Spartan is executing on a major opportunity with Dallas 1, and it’s built for the long haul.
Having begun the second week of February, this large-scale project will span 341 days, marking the start of a significant, multi-phase partnership.
The scope includes 12 subphases within Phase 1 alone, demonstrating the complexity and strategic coordination required to keep operations running smoothly. And that’s just the beginning. A true Phase 2, complete with its own subphases, is already planned. Altogether, this positions the team for nearly two full years of consistent, impactful work.
Dallas 1 will be leading the replacement of water mains for the City of Tampa, a critical infrastructure upgrade that will serve the community for years to come. We’re proud to support a project of this scale and importance, ensuring safe, efficient traffic control every step of the way.
Big projects like this don’t just happen, they’re earned. Spartan has already started hit the ground running and looks forward to delivering excellence from start to finish.

Use Your Guardian Smarts
Guardian SmartFlagger Cold Weather Battery & Equipment Reminders
During cold nigths and cold months, low temperatures can negatively affect batteries and equipment. Please follow these reminders to avoid delays.
Tablets - Cold temperatures can shock the battery, causing slow or improper charging. Do not leave tablets in the truck overnight. Bring tablets indoors overnight so they are ready for use the next day.
Drill Batteries - Cold temperatures overnight can shock drill batteries. Bringing all drill batteries indoors at the end of the day will ensure proper performance the next morning.
Battery Packs - Battery packs are also affected by cold overnight temperatures. Leaving them in the truck can result in little to no charge the next day so make sure to bring battery packs inside overnight.
Equipment Protection Tips
This is especially important in northern states to keep snow and frost off the GSF.
Cover units overnight when trucks are parked.
Using an open road sign helps, but a small tarp secured with bungee straps works much better.
Covering units helps prevent buttons, pins, and other moving parts from freezing or sticking.
Taking these steps will help keep equipment operational and reduce downtime during cold weather.
